You can now add transitions to any video template or scene, with effects like Fade, Wipe, and many more to create smoother, more polished videos. Scene Transitions are available now, so you can start adding seamless transitions to every video you create.

We’ve moved Sound Effects into the AI Assistant to make them easier to find and use while creating your videos. Simply open the AI Assistant, describe the sound effect you’re looking for, and it will generate one for you in seconds—making it faster than ever to add the perfect finishing touch to your videos.

Customers already on a paid plan will automatically receive Animation Minutes, and free users can upgrade to a paid plan to get Animation Minutes.

Clone your voice in Lumen5 and use it for AI voiceover videos! You can create a voice clone by recording directly in Lumen5 or by uploading an existing voiceover. Once it’s ready, you can use it to generate AI voiceovers for your videos. Try it now out in the creator by going to the AI voice selection and adding a new voice. Voice Cloning is available on the basic plan and up.

When you translate a video's voiceover, scene overlays now automatically adjust to match, so your translated video feels just as intentional as the original. 🎬

Previously, scene overlay timing was locked to the original language. Translate from English to French, for example, and your scenes would still cut based on English phrasing, making the video feel off.

Now, overlays intelligently re-sync to the translated voiceover, so every cut lands at the right moment, in any language. ✨
