Here’s an idea on how you can use chat GPT to help you with your video content creation workflow. For many of us, stock media plays a big role in our visual storytelling, but oftentimes we’re talking about concepts that are inherently nonvisual and it can be tricky to know how to visualize those concepts.

For example, if you’re talking about the recession, how do you find a visual representation of what a recession is? This is where you can lean on A.I. I went to chat GPT and I asked: give me some visual representations of the concept of the recession. It gave me clever ideas like a deflating balloon or a wilting flower, and now I can take those visual concepts, drop it into a media search library to be able to find visual representations to tell the stories that I’m trying to tell.

Video creation tools like Lumen5 have millions of stock media that’s available in the platform, but the user still needs to know how to search for the right things, and I found that chat GPT has helped me be more creative in finding the right search terms to better tell my visual story. So if you find yourself talking about an abstract concept and you don’t know how to represent it, try and run it through chat GPT and see what it spits out.
