You should create a video station for yourself. A lot of people I talk to want to create more video content, but a common hurdle is to hassle of setting up the equipment every single time. It’s so important for me personally to have this set up here, where I just plug in a USB I’ve got my phone on a tripod. It’s always the same angle.

Maybe it’s not the most exciting, but it’s convenient and convenience is really important because if you want to be creating videos every single day, you want to limit the amount of prep work that you have to do, and your quote unquote studio doesn’t need to be fancy. Here, I’m just at my home office with a mic arm and a tripod and my phone. So if you don’t have an area in your office or in your home where it’s plug-and-play, I strongly recommend you take some time to set that up for yourself. Ideally, it faces some sort of windows, so you’ve got good lighting coming in.

You don’t really need to worry about a fancy microphone. Anything between 40 or 80 dollars will allow you to capture sound in a really nice way. So what does your recording setup look like? I’d love to see. Share with me a photo in the comments below.
