B2B video content can feel… a little too buttoned-up. But if 2025’s creative trends tell us anything, it’s that being real and a little messy (in a good way) is what grabs attention.

After diving into insights from the 2025 Webby It’s Giving Brainrot report, YouTube’s Why We Watch 2.0, and Adobe’s Creative Trends 2025, here’s the TL;DR on what B2B brands can steal (and apply!) to their video strategies for 2025:

1. POV: You’re Making a B2B Video

POV-style videos are a cheat code for creating a connection. Mainly used on for shorter pieces of content, this format makes viewers feel as if they’re part of the conversation between the camera and a team member, making your content interactive and personal — they dynamic duo. This POV-style can be perfect for B2B brands to adopt for videos like product walkthroughs or behind-the-scenes type content. It’s already growing on Instagram reels and LinkedIn video!

2. Unhinged Is In

Humour is KING (or QUEEN). Adobe found that 90% of people remember funny content, and 72% think humour makes brands more likeable. Even in B2B, a little unhinged energy can go a long way—as long as it stays true to your vibe. 94% of Gen Z engage with trends and lingo, but it’s authenticity that really hits home.

Pro tip: If a trend doesn’t fit your brand, don’t force it. Being cringe is worse than being ignored. “stop trying to make fetch happen!!!!!”

3. You’re a Guest, Not the Main Character

Social media isn’t your house—it’s your audience’s. 😤 They’ll let you in if you’re cool, but they’re not here to throw a party for your product. Keep your product to a minimum (even better – make it disappear 💨) and focus on high-quality storytelling.

91% of YouTube viewers say high-quality content should be meaningful, while 90% want it to be relatable. What does “high-quality” mean these days?

Pro tip: Less about your product, more value. Subtle branding for the win.

4. Loops and Transitions Are the MVP

Logos are out, seamless never-ending loops are in. Over produced content is a big no-no and red flag for viewers as a sign of “inauthentic” content. Smooth transitions keep people hooked and loops are replay gold. The content never ends and the audience member is engaged the entire time. B2B brands can use this technique for demos, explainers, or even quick testimonials.

Pro tip: Use looping to make your content binge-worthy and addictive on LinkedIn or Instagram.

5. AI Is Your Creative Co-Pilot

AI tools are the secret sauce for making cool (and slightly unhinged or surreal) stuff faster. The internet is a weird place and I can guarantee you, your audience has seen it ALL. So whether it’s co-creating visuals, generating on-trend designs (like retro-futurism or surreal aesthetics), or experimenting with ideas, use AI to explore wild ideas you might not have the time or budget to pull off otherwise.

Stat check: 86% of people believe co-creation with brands makes them more trustworthy.

6. Perfectly Imperfect Is the New Perfect

Stop overthinking. The internet loves raw, real, and unfiltered. Only 1% of viewers care about perfect visuals. What they want is personal, honest, and relatable content. Those little “mistakes”—a messy background, a goofy laugh—are what make your brand feel human and relatable. Let the imperfections and flaws shine!! ✨

2025 is shaping up to be the year of real and personal, which after a full year of AI – makes total sense. Whether you’re hopping on unhinged humour, leaning into behind-the-scenes gold, or pushing creative boundaries with AI, there’s plenty of room for creativity in 2025.
